topleft voyeur, 2008

For this piece I revisited footage of the left corner only of the movie “Last Tango in Paris” by Bernardo Bertolucci.

After developing the concept for "topleft defined" (2007), I felt the need to push beyond this initial point of view. In the new video I layered, manipulated, reversed, re-ordered etc. any and all images that held some kind of intrigue or importance for me and my work on ambiguity and gray zones in life; detached wandering.
